Let's shift the narrative in real terms. Prisons are not environments of 'us vs them', but places where humanity, compassion, and empathy should thrive. Help us push for this reform! We need more active engagement from the community in demanding oversight boards in US prisons for staff accountability, taking the example of Norway's prison system. Start by reaching out to your local commissioners and secretaries to discuss how to foster a more humane and dignified treatment of the incarcerated.
